Covid-19 Pcr Fit-for-travel Test

at herbert pharmacy, we offer a convenient private covid-19 rt-pcr testing service with a fit-to-travel certificate. 

the covid-19 pcr test is designed to determine if you are currently infected with covid-19. most countries are now asking for a negative pcr test (fit-for-travel).  this test involves taking a swab sample and sending the sample to the lab for investigations. the results are emailed to you with a certificate. 

how does the pcr test service work?

you can purchase the pcr test kit from our pharmacy. please call us for the latest prices and offers. the test kit has all the instructions you need to take a swab sample. if you can return the test kit to the pharmacy before the cut off time (10:30 am), your results will be sent to your email on the next working day with the fit-for-travel certificate.

what is the test to release scheme?

if you arrive in england from amber list of countries outside the uk, ireland, the channel islands or the isle of man you must quarantine for 10 days on arrival. under the test to release scheme, you can choose to pay for a private covid-19 test once you have been in england for 5 full days.

if the result is negative, you can end your self-isolation period.
